II. REGIONAL REPORTS

  • Teletus: The Merchant Festival is active through 2/22. Bea Lael announced the opening of a new Grocer/General Store which will also house a dedicated Merchant Law Firm.

  • Ar’s Station: Kati Evans reported the successful opening of the Station Academy this week. Three classes have already been held, and a third instructor is currently being onboarded.  Station Academy Calendar

  • City of Lara: Skully Skarsgard is developing a city newspaper. Notably, a Kur has recently taken up residence within the city.

  • Selnar: Nicholas Sylvanus reported that their High Scribe is traveling and will be away for some time. In his honor, scribe debates will be scheduled for after En’Kara. Nicholas has also officially added Trivia Night to the En’Kara schedule for March 16th.

  • Port Olni: Duncan Willis and Karisima Stein confirmed the city remains steady and is eagerly anticipating the Sardar Fair.

III. EN'KARA FAIR SCHEDULE (SCRIBE TENT)

The Fair officially commences Friday, March 13. Below are the confirmed highlights for the Scribe Tent:

  • Saturday, March 14 (1 PM): Scribes Meet & Greet (Hosted by Trygg & Kar).

  • Monday, March 16 (Merchant Day): * 6 PM: Noctis Trivialis – A Gorean Canon Trivia competition hosted by Nicholas Sylvanus.

  • Tuesday, March 17 (SCRIBE DAY): * 8 AM: Introduction to the Caste of Scribes (Karisima Stein).

    • 3 PM: Being Head of Council of Scribes (Abraham Jacobson).

    • Ongoing: Presentations on Apprenticeships, RP Materials, and Calendar Standardization.

IV. ADMINISTRATIVE NOTICES & CONDUCT

  • Presentation Opportunities: Limited slots remain. Kati Evans has been invited to present on Magistrate or Academy-related topics.

  • City Infrastructure: City Tent and Merchant Cart applications are due immediately. Carts and tents will be available via a rental system.

  • Official Stance on Harassment: Lady Kar addressed recent hostility in Scribe OOC groups. The council affirms that all Scribes have a right to participate in En’Kara. Hostility and "griefing" will not be tolerated; members are encouraged to remain professional and report abuse to Linden Lab.

I have my stall set up and many other people other than Merchants have stalls as well. It is a great role play shopping event with zcs coins or with rp posts. Also, I recently have moved to Teletus and still establishing my store. Once it is finished, it will be a Grocer store, but also General store, and a Merchant Law firm"

I've added a Trivia Night to the En Kara schedule and am hoping many of you will form teams to represent your cities. Our High Scribe has gone traveling and will be gone for an extended period of time, though we're hoping he'll come back soon. In the meantime, we'll schedule another round of scribe debates in his honor, to be held after En Kara."

[08:47] Kati Evans: The Station Academy opened this week, had it first three classes to day, and now has  a second teacher.  The Academy's calendar is up and running too.  Monday, a third has show interest to teaching there too.  That is where most of my focus has been the last two weeks. Done little else. .... I will look at my calendar later today and give some thought to En'kara.

He is a skilled Scribe, and the city is well served by his hand. Olni waits patiently for the Fair, all eager for what follows.

[08:53] ꝀȺɌ (karisima.stein): I was asked for my thoughts on an incident that happened in one of the Scribes groups.   I want to share my written thoughts here  for all to know where I stand on it.   which is the following :

[08:53] ꝀȺɌ (karisima.stein): There are several Scribe groups in SL Gor, and many of us belong to more than one. Every Scribe, regardless of group, has the right to present at En’Kara. Participation from any group does not equate to “taking over” anything.


When Trygg and I shared the call for presenters through the Scribe groups and by delivering invitations, it was done in good faith and for the sake of the fair. The hostility that followed is unnecessary and does no good.


At some point, repeated attacks stop being “expression” and become griefing. When the same hostility resurfaces again and again, it becomes deliberate disruption. 


Harassment, targeting, and abusive behavior serve no purpose but to harm. Anyone facing it, stay strong and report abuse to Linden Lab.

No matter how hard you try to make the group about knowledge sharing and growth, someone is going to perceive it as an encroachment on their school of thought. I can disagree - and have disagreed with a few people in this group- but it can be done in a constructive manner. I'll be certain to guard your right to conduct your business and speak out against destructive behaviors.

1. Sardar Fair (En’Kara 2026) Schedule

The "Road to the Fair" begins March 9, with the official opening on Friday, March 13. The fair concludes Sunday, March 22.

  • Scribe Conference: Hendrix is planning a regular Scribe conference (potentially starting in February) to increase sim traffic and interaction.

  • Rumor Mill: Madeleine Skall inquired about the "Games of Love and War"; Trygg will investigate if this is on the Warrior Caste agenda.

SCoG* Meeting Transcripts January 21

Attached are the meeting transcripts from the 8 am and 5 pm SCoG* meetings last Wednesday, the 21st. Both meetings focused on the upcoming Sardar Fair and the Scribe Caste Day on March 17th. I will be sending out a spreadsheet for the scribes so that you can monitor the events as they go on the official calendar. So far, Scribes have submitted 5 events. When they are put on the official calendar I will send a new version of the schedule out. We are urged to fill up Scribe day, but can also (MORE) 

schedule events for other days, as long as they don't conflict with a big event elsewhere at the fair. I will be putting out a new notice to SCoG* and Blue Caste of Gor to post the schedules and other guidelines. Please step up and volunteer your time and expertise to present a topic. More to come.

Please step up and volunteer your time and service. This is the only time of year that all inhabitants of all regions can come together for an exchange of ideas, and we want to make the most of it."

Tuesday March 17th -- Scribe Day

Keep in mind that we are not limited to activity on March 17, but that might be the day to roll out the special events, if we develop them.

[08:48] Trygg Tyran: The committee has outlined expectations to ensure smooth coordination between caste tents and to avoid unnecessary competition. The key points are as follows:

•     Each caste tent may run its own programming; however, tents are expected to remain aware of activities happening in other caste tents.

[08:48] Trygg Tyran: •     Organizers prefer that caste‑run events do not overlap when they appeal to similar audiences. The goal is to prevent competing activities that divide attendance.

[08:49] Trygg Tyran: •     Major events should not be scheduled at the same time. This allows visitors to move freely between tents and enjoy a variety of offerings throughout the fair.

[08:49] Trygg Tyran: •     Caste tents are encouraged to share their planned event times with the organizers—and with one another—to help minimize scheduling conflicts.

[08:50] Trygg Tyran: •     We are encouraged to fully program our tent on Scribe Day, which falls on Tuesday, March 17th. We may schedule as many presentations and activities as we wish for that day..

[08:50] Trygg Tyran: •     Still, we would like to have a few presenters and topics “in our back pocket” in case other castes leave portions of their time unused.

[08:51] Trygg Tyran: I was also thinking that we could offer some presentations with other castes. Such as a merchant law presentation with the Merchant Caste, to be held in either tent, and a presentation on Initiate law, since scribes should be aware of that process."

[17:45:16] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): This is a  two page document. The first page is an overall time line of Fair events. The second page is a list of event hosting registrations already received.

[17:45:38] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): As you can see, Hendrix has submitted an event and so has Abraham.

[17:47:07] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): The committee has outlined expectations to ensure smooth coordination between caste tents and to avoid unnecessary competition. The key points are as follows:

•     Each caste tent may run its own programming; however, tents are expected to remain aware of activities happening in other caste tents.

•     Organizers prefer that caste‑run events do not overlap when they appeal to similar audiences. The goal is to prevent competing activities that divide attendance.

[17:47:51] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): •     Major events should not be scheduled at the same time. This allows visitors to move freely between tents and enjoy a variety of offerings throughout the fair.

•     Caste tents are encouraged to share their planned event times with the organizers—and with one another—to help minimize scheduling conflicts.

[17:48:12] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): •     We are encouraged to fully program our tent on Scribe Day, which falls on Tuesday, March 17th. We may schedule as many presentations and activities as we wish for that day..

[17:48:27] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): •     Still, we would like to have a few presenters and topics “in our back pocket” in case other castes leave portions of their time unused.

[17:48:51] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): I was also thinking that we could offer some presentations with other castes. Such as a merchant law presentation with the Merchant Caste, to be held in either tent, and a presentation on Initiate law, since scribes should be aware of that process."

[17:50:07] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): So a couple things  to keep in mind:

1. submit your Event hosting forms to Kar or me by February 8. We will consolidate them and send them to the committee to be added to the schedule.

[17:50:24] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): 2. If your city hasn't done so yet, submit the En'Kara Space Reservation form to the fair office to reserve your tents. The builders have an interesting idea for campsites this year, so submit the forms.

[17:51:48] Trygg Tyran (tryggtyran): Actually, I will pass out a folder of all the forms including the dance competition forms.

I am still working out the details on the who what where when why of it with my sim leadership but a scribe conference similar to the physician on that was just held. As you know sl gor is a fickle place and people go to dots. I want to establish a semi regular conference that is hosted by a revolving schedule of sims for scribes to get together. It will be fully handled and presented icly once I get things hammered out with my sim leadership.
