1. General & Educational Updates
Abraham Jacobson: Opened the meeting welcoming everyone to the new year. Announced he is now Chancellor at the Gorean Campus of Lara. The college has nine teachers covering most castes; Physicians are setting up classes soon.
Kati Evans: Announced her promotion to Governor's Scribe at Ar's Station (reporting directly to the Governor). She is currently teaching "Introduction to Gorean Civilization" at the college (Mondays at 2pm and 10pm).
2. The Sardar Fair (En'Kara) Planning
Karisima Stein:
She and Trygg are coordinating the Scribe Tent.
Scribe Day is designated as Tuesday, March 17th.

3. City & Individual Updates
Sabayna (Pani Islands): Promoted to Secretary to Shogun Ichiro in Daphna. Explained that in the Pani lands, there are no castes, only classes; she functions as civil service.
Viktoria Audax (Ar's Station): Currently serving as Merchant Magistrate, busy organizing the Merchant's Hall.
Jewella (Tharna): Cartographer/Teacher. Organizing a 3-day class in January on "Being a Slaver and Running an Auction," culminating in a live auction of 6-7 slaves.
Armand Wayfarer (Lara): Reported the Winter Merchant Fair was a moderate success.
New Policy: Initiating strict recruitment for Lara Scribes (background checks, references, probationary period). Explicitly stated Lara will not poach Scribes from other cities.
Offered Lara's facilities for mock trials/scenarios.

"being a slaver and running an auction" with the last class being a

or 7 slaves and we already have 2. This
will soon to be advertised, as this is happening in January. I have interacted with Abraham to ensure my

be around the salt trade as you can imagine.
