Key Discussion Points & Decisions:

    • August 6th Evening: Meetings are monthly OOC, hosted by SCoG, running for almost two years with over 100 active members.

    • Both Morning & Evening: Membership update: SCoG grew by 30 people (thanks to Enkara), reaching 105 total, making it the largest active group. The goal remains to unite scribes and attract independent ones.

    • August 6th Evening: Meeting format confirmed as text-based. Good turnout for the 5 PM SLT meeting. Discussion about ideal meeting times for different global time zones (US, Canada, Brazil).

  2. Scribe Summit Schedule & House of Wisdom:

    • August 6th Morning: Decision made to inaugurate the House of Wisdom earlier (September) to allow more space for the Summit. The building is expected to be finished by end of August, with a guided tour planned. Hermes will start Gorean Zoology lectures in early September.

    • August 6th Morning: A one-hour break was noted after the last lecture. Trygg suggested filling this with another lecture to maintain momentum, and Hermes agreed.

  3. Summit Lecturers/Teachers:

    • Both Morning & EveningAugust 3rd & 6th: Victoria Forstander (Abraham's mother, 20+ years teaching in Gor) is confirmed to teach for the Summit, possibly focusing on Mapmaking. Abraham will contact her for her schedule.

    • August 6th Evening: Fogaban is confirmed to be teaching, known for setting up "the Gorean Cave."

  4. Debates for the Summit (IC - In Character, court-room style):

    • Both Morning & Evening: Proposed as an opportunity to showcase rhetorical skills, logic, and wit. Three debates, one per day, with word limits and moderation. Topics will be released a week in advance.

    • Both Morning & Evening: Proposed Topics:

      1. Women's Roles: Are women allowed to be Magistrates and HoCs? (Noted as a contentious topic with varying city views).

      2. Scribe/Magistrate Training: Is formal training necessary, or is on-the-job experience sufficient? (Includes the "both" option).

      3. Merchant Magistrates: Should Scribes or Merchants serve as Merchant Magistrates? (This varies by city).

    • August 6th Morning: Kati, Bea, and Kiki were suggested as good candidates for debate. Hermes expressed interest in observing.

    • August 6th Evening: Lady Elphabala Death expressed interest as a potential participant. Drew Barnard volunteered to moderate.

  5. DJ & Slave Dance for Summit:
