The SCoG* group met at it's 5 pm meeting in the City of Teletus tonight. The group went around the table and introduced themselves and then a discussion of the upcoming Sardar Fair preparations took place, led by Lady Kar of Port Olni.

[17:21:09] Davor O'Donnell (davoroflaura): nods. "Davor O'Donnell, I traveled Gor for a while after some serious family business was eventually solved. Then decided to settle down in the Scimitar oasis as I have family and acquaintances there. But was again busy but nothing special to tell. "

[17:43:22] ꝀȺɌ (karisima.stein): No doubt most of you have already seen the notices from the Sardar Fair Committee, including the forms for event planning, site reservations, and the dance competitions. Trygg and I are coordinating the Scribe tent this year, and we are able and willing to serve as the point of contact for submitting our Scribe‑related events as soon as those who would like to present have reached out to us. ---> cont

[17:44:40] ꝀȺɌ (karisima.stein): The committee has asked that caste tents coordinate their schedules so we avoid competing events. Each tent is free to plan its own activities, but we are encouraged to be mindful of one another so visitors can move easily between offerings. Sharing planned times with the organizers—or directly with each other—will help prevent conflicts. --> cont
[17:45:22] ꝀȺɌ (karisima.stein): For our part, we are encouraged to fully program the Scribe tent on Tuesday, March 17th, which is designated as Scribe Day. We may schedule as many presentations and activities as we wish for that day. For the remainder of the week, however, we will wait to finalize our schedule until the other castes have submitted their plans and the major weekend events—such as the dance competitions and tournaments—have been confirmed. Even so, it would be helpful for us to have a few presenters and topics “in our back pocket” in case unused time becomes available in other tents. --->

We will be completing the Event Hosting Registration. So if you haven't done so, take the scrolls back to your cities and encourage your leadership to register.
